Ziyad was developed to serve as a patrol boat – operating independently or in pairs as an early warning system or law enforcement vessel. She carries a crew of 18 plus a platoon of 13 Marines and a pair of boarding shuttles. The ship is well armed and armored.
The Ziyad-class is derived from the Seraphim-class frigate, perhaps the best known of which is the exploration ship
"Drake"
. She has sufficient firepower to deter aggressors, enough speed for pursuit, and adequate manpower for boarding actions.
The designs are from Armada Codex:
Ziyad.
*The front and back of a single poster are displayed above. Because the ship spans both sides, a special price is provided for two copies of the poster to display the whole ship at once.
The set of 4 miniatures sold above includes 1 Ziyad patrol boat and 2 Brahma-class shuttles.
Individual Ziyad models and 4-packs of shuttles are also available.
A black 1-inch stand is included with each Ziyad. The shuttles do not use stands.
